I work with adolescents, young adults, and middle-aged adults who may be struggling within their relationships, are regularly experiencing uncomfortable feelings and emotions, or are interested in making changes in their lives. I also work with couples and families. My therapeutic approach includes a warm, genuine, and collaborative style to encourage an authentic client/therapist connection to promote growth and change. I like to use a holistic approach- pulling from different types of therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have questions or are interested in learning more about what therapy may look like.

NO CURRENT AVAILABILITY--I have been practicing psychotherapy in the Susquehanna Valley for over 12 years. I work with individuals, couples, and families on the problems they experience in their lives and relationships. My style is gentle and I encourage an environment that is open and supportive. I help clients to be comfortable and candid about their thoughts and feelings, and to make important emotional and behavioral changes that are positive for their lives and their families. In addition to conducting therapy, I am an adjunct professor of psychology at Susquehanna University. My approach in therapy is warm and pragmatic. I often incorporate humor, remind people of strengths, and examine perspectives perhaps not previously considered. The relationship between therapist and client is vitally important and must feel safe and comfortable. Building a meaningful relationship is perhaps my favorite part of this work. I work with those affected by depression or anxiety, developmental transitions, moms and dads navigating the difficulties of parenting, women experiencing mental-health issues, and those dealing with loss. I work with individuals, couples, and families. I welcome people from all races, ethnicities, sexual or gender identifications, and backgrounds.
